LOL, I'm actually doing something on my account since making it 6 months ago. Well, I never really intended to use my deviantART that much because I don't have a scanner meaning I can't really post any fanart and I'm not a good artist anyway heh. The reason I made this account was to view the Kirby Slash pictures that were censored due to age. Anyway, this has been useless chit-chat, time to get to the point.

Does seriously no one like this ship? Kirby and Rick are just too adorable and cute to not be a couple *SQEE*. To be honest, its the ONLY ship with Kirby that I support. I use to like others, I actually believe it says I like KirbyxGooey and KirbyxRibbon in my siggy, but, I USED to, not anymore. I think Rick is the only one for Kirby and Rick is the only one for Kirby. I have become obsessed with this ship. Hell I even have failed attemepts of fanfics of this ship on my computer however I'm not exactly the best writer

Yes, Rick actually DOES have a girlfriend Pick. Kirby met Rick in Kirby's Dream Land 2 and which to my knowledge, makes Rick, Kirby's first friend ever (HnK isn't canon, so you can't really count him growing up at Acore, however pretty much no characters in the canon series plot has their pasts touched, KDL2 may not even be the first time Rick and Kirby meet. However the animal helpers may have been captured BECAUSE they are friends with Kirby....who knows). I believe Rick met Kirby before he met Pick as she appears in Kirby's Dream Land 3. Regardless if he did or didn't I really do believe Rick (along with Coo and Kine) was Kirby's first friend and I also believe his closest (some say Gooey and while the instruction manual does state Gooey is his "good" friend it never says Gooey is his best friend). Just look at the KDL2/KDL3 cutscenes with Kirby and Rick, they are just so adorable and friendly with each other. Look at the Iceland cutscene in Kirby's Dream Land 2. Kirby chooses Rick over Kine and pats him. You can see just right there that Kirby loves Rick. Yes the Grass Land cutscene in KDL3 does show Kirby walking right past Rick, I however believe Kirby didn't notice Rick, no way he would just ignore one of his friends like that (Chuchu actually does have a major crush on Kirby, her friendly mood towards him and the manga does confirm her crush).

And it maybe just a sidegame, but I believe this game has the biggest hints torwards KirbyxRick. Just look at the clear screens from Kirby Star Stacker. Its pretty damn obvious that Kirby and Rick love each other. In one of the cutscenes, Kirby is patting Rick so cheerfully and lovingly. All you need to do is look at Rick's face and you can tell he loves it, I think he maybe actually blushing. Too bad the game is only black and white, but hell THERE'S EVEN A HEART! Hearts are NOT shown just to represent any friendship. Another one of them has Kirby and Rick at a picnic alone. Really why would Kirby be on a picnic alone with Rick, it is quite possibly a date. Or just them hanging out together. Rick maybe shy about it but Kirby expresses his love for Rick without hesitation. Rick knows it too, now just if he would break up with Pick (Sorry Pick lol) they could be together. These are the damn cutest pictures I have ever seen AND they are actually in an official game. Kirby and Rick were made for each other.

I've actually found a blog somewhere that says the manga hints KirbyxRick and I've searched through the translated ones and haven't found it, I'm also kinda thick to innuendos as well, so if anyone knows it, please post the link to which page. Also all the pages aren't translated so it could be a Japanese.

That is my conclusion on my belief and hints torwards KirbyxRick. Most ships in series aren't canon and I doubt this one is either but I'm sure there's enough for us fans to keep it alive . It does sadden me that Rick barely appears in Hoshi no Kaabii. Really he, the animal helpers and Gooey in the canon games are without question his best friends. They deserved better in the anime.

Now, its time to discuss the little attention that Rick and KDL2/KDL3 get in general. It pisses me off to no fucking end. There are major discussions about Kirby Super Star. And this is because to many people Kirby Super Star is their favorite Kirby game (it goes without question that mine are KDL2/KDL3). And Meta Knight because because he's a mysterious kickass swordsman and it is very likely he's also the same species as Kirby. But still, dicussions of any Kirby game besides Kirby Super Star are very minimal and unfortunately for fans of Rick and the animal friends such as myself this includes Dream Land 2 and 3. Any character that isn't in Kirby Super Star is nearly never talked about which is bullshit. I'd goto Kirby's Rainbow Resort and try to start a discussion, but I'm not too good with keeping an active account on forums. Look at me here on DA, this is my first journal since I made this account in 6 months. I don't want to say something I feel deeply from the heart just for it to die out and be ignored (as this thread actually probably will....).

I hate to say it but Rick is an obscure character and the games he's from are games no one talks about. But the games are good, hell they are amazing (I think they are anyway), but....in many people's eyes they just don't compare to KSS thus meaning they don't need attention. Kirby's Rainbow Resort actually had a poll recently that asked who is your LEAST favorite animal friend. Seriously WTF. I love them all...well Rick the most so I'm obviously not voting him. But in the end I just didn't vote on the poll as it should've asked who our MOST favorite is instead >_>

The animal helpers are without a doubt my favorite Kirby characters except Kirby himself. And they are shown as Kirby's best friends, so why does no one discuss them? I don't get it. All I know is that the animal helpers need to come back, its been over 10 years since Kirby's Dream Land 3 and excluding the anime they've only made TWO cameos. Rick and Gooey as trophies in SSBM and Rick, Coo and Kine in Kirby Super Star Ultra minigames. I expect to see them again before 2012...I once thought they were abandoned and HAL forgot but the cameos in KSSU rose hope in my heart once again.

One last thing I want to ask. Am the ONLY supporter of KirbyxRick?! I've searched high and I've searched low and I swear, I have NEVER found a fanfic of them (I don't goto adultfanfiction though....so maybe there's some there, but they are adorable kids, I don't like seeing their relationship sexually). I have tried searching deviantART for it, and well. I have only seen 3 pictures EVER of KirbyxRick, one I don't really know if it counts as serious KirbyxRick. The other was one by DanceFloorRevolution that got removed when she left DA (I regret not downloading it, but I never thought she would leave T_T). And the last one is hentai which as I've stated before. I really am against seeing their relationship as something sexual.

Well before I rap this up, I just want to say I'm sorry for removing all the comments on my page and removing everyone on my watchlist. Because Kirby Slash isn't human and few of my friends found out about my account. So I got embarassed and actually tried to close this account. But now, I don't care what anyone thinks, I'm not into Kirby or Rick sexually or anything, in fact I'm against it. So I'm no furry.

Anyway if you read this, just let me know what you think of Rick and if KirbyxRick is a good ship because I never see it discussed T_T
